The accompanying YouTube video is an excellent presentation about how business interests lead to scaling up, irresponsible production conditions, and adding ingredients to food that generate a kind of addiction. The lecture speaks for itself; you can set up the translation via YouTube!

This is, of course, only an example from the food preparation industry. What about the supply companies? How are the circumstances there? Recently, in the Netherlands an investigation on working conditions and safety was started with a chemical giant. But why would you want to work there anyway, knowing what they produce? Is the power of salary and “bread on the shelf” greater than moral awareness?
