Untitled Dream

      1. Untitled Dream8 Plays

I can pay my own way, working hard day after day;
bought me this house and my guitar.
Got many friends at work, at least from nine to five –
some even join me to the bars.
And in the evening when I’m going out in town
I’m flirtin’ with the beauties all around.
Time after time I realize it’s just a game –
before I’m there I’m feeling homeward bound.

Chorus:

When I’m alone at night and dreaming
about the love I’d like to share,
I feel your body -warm- beside me
and smell your perfume in the air.
But when the morning sunshine calls me
your picture’s faded by the beams.
Can’t find you sleeping on my shoulder –
you’ve been an untitled dream.
You’ve been an untitled dream.

I bide my time, observing people, writing songs,
and watching news lines on TV.
And while the world is fighting, peace lives in my heart –
I understand humanity.
Though from a distance everything seems clear and bright,
relationships are never understood.
‘Cause you’re the victim of the feelings you can’t hide –
emotions are the colours of the truth.

Chorus:

Well you know, the day will come your steps will fit in mine,
your eyes discovering my soul.
We’ll love in silence and our words are stretched in time
and we’ e not sure why teardrops fall.
That magic mirror, we’ll be breaking through one day,
reveals a future no-one else can see.
And as I’m waiting for your image to appear,
I sense that you are longin’ too for me.

Chorus:
